Stories that matter. Made impossible to ignore.

Kelly Warden is a Western Australian producer and digital storyteller, working at the intersection of social justice and documentary filmmaking.

She has worked internationally with United Nations agencies, including UNICEF, leading digital content production with youth climate advocates across Europe and Central Asia. She also filmed with young survivors of the Mediterranean Sea crossing in Italy to bring stories of migration and survival to global audiences.

She produced ‘Health Heroes of the Himalayas’ for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance — a short documentary on healthcare workers in remote Nepal selected for the 2025 Red Cross Film Festival. Her portrait photography has been featured in international exhibitions, including UNICEF’s Global World Children’s Day showcase, and in publications such as C-Heads Magazine.

Previously Kelly worked as a grassroots journalist for one of Western Australia’s last independent newspapers, the Fremantle Herald, reporting on housing and homelessness, First Nations justice and women’s rights.

She is back in Western Australia co-producing an impact documentary with Mardathoonera lore woman, Raelene Cooper, in her fight to protect ancient Aboriginal rock art from industrial expansion.
